Plant Description: Low perennial with trailing or creeping stems to 15 cm or longer. Leaves 3-foliate, the obcordate leaflets 8-18 mm wide, palmate. Leaves often folded. Flowers peduncled, radial the petals 4-6 mm long, yellow. Roots at the nodes. Fruit capsules hairy, cylindrical about 2 cm long

Plant Trivia: Native to Europe. Seed capsules burst open and throw the seeds some distance from the parent.

Occurrence: Frequent weed o damp shady places in gardens.

Bloom Period: February-December
