Plant Trivia: This plant thrives on dry sand but will die rapidly in wet weather or due to overwatering.
Field Identification:
Occurrence: Frequent on deep sands from ANMWR to Baffin Bay and barrier islands.
Bloom Period: April-November
Plant Use: Can be an effective ground cover if not over watered.
