Leaves mostly alternate, blades highly variable, margins entire, toothed, or lobed. Leaves nearest the flowrs are reddishFloral leaves bright red near base. Male and female flowers in cuplike structures loacted in the upper parts of the plant
Plant Trivia: Sometimes cultivated for its miniature poinsettia like appearance.
Field Identification: Looks like a faded poinsettia.
Occurrence: Waste places and cultivated areas.
