Description: Aquatic perennial to 15 cm high usually with creeping or floating sems, forming mats. Leaves opposite, 7-18 mm long, oblanceolate to obovate, thickish or fleshy. Flowers solitary the corolla 7-12 mm long, pale yellow to whitish. The flowers are small, actinomorphic and white, with four to five petals. It can even grow in slightly brackish conditions.
