Field Identification: This species has leathery ribbed capsules topped wiht 2 calyx teeth. D. teres has capsules with no ribs, topped with 4 calyx teeth.
Occurrence: Occasional on moist steam and ditch banks or in swales and marshes. Tivoli to Flour Bluff.
