Plant Description: Annual to 20 cm high with pinnately divided leaves 1-4 cm long. Heads solitary, 1.5-2.8 cm wide, disks and ray flowers yellow to yellow-orange.
Plant Trivia: Endemic to Texas and northern Mexico
Field Identification:
Occurrence: Frequent on o loamy soils in prairies, openings, and waste places in western half of area. Leaves are aromatic when crushed. There are two varieties T. tenuiloba tenuiloba and T. tenuiloba wrightii. The latter is found more frequently on sandy or loamy areas.
Bloom Period: March-November
