Plant Description: Annual with prostrate or trailing stems to 40 cm or longer and elliptical to linear glabrous leaves 5-12 mm long, opposite. Tiny flowers can be white, pink, red, or green.

Occurrence: Frequent on coastal sands from ANWR to Baffin Bay and the barrier islands. Well-adapted to sandy, saline environments.
