Description: Annual to about 15 cm tall with white, woolly leaves 5-25 mm long. Alternate leaves without petioles and mostly spatulate about 1 cm wide. Heads in axillary clusters, about 2 mm wide, white-woolly. Corolla minute, discoid.

Plant Trivia: Flowers are partly hidden by the hairy location of them.
Occurrence: Occasional on sand in prairies and openings.
