Plant Description: Annual to 30 cm high with erect to reclining or trailing stems. Leaves bipinnate with dissected leaflets 5-15 mm long, alternate. Flowers in loose racemes, bilateral with a spur. Petals 1-1.5 cm long, yellow.
Plant Trivia: This plant is endemic to Texas.

Occurrence: Frequent on various soils in prairies, openings, fields and wase places.
