Plant Description: Well-rounded, evergreen shrub or tree to 7 m high with elliptic, leathery leaves, 4-10 cm long, simple, alternate with entire margins. The trunks are a rusty brown color, and the branches have reddish-brown hairs on them. Flowers in clusters, the perianth 3-4 mm long, pale yellow. Fruits blue-black drupe.
