Plant Description: Annual with narrowly linear rosette of basal leaves to about 7 cm long. Leaves are glabrous and smooth along their margins. The tips of he basal leaves are blunt. Flower stalk is unbranched, usually naked except for a single flower at its apex. Flowers on scapes up to 12 cm high, solitary. Petals and spurred sepals 3-4 mm long, whitish or light yellow.

Occurrence: Frequent on damp sands, mostly in swales and depressions
