Plant Description: Grayish perennial to 35 cm high with oblong-lanceolate leaves 1.5-6 cm long. Flowers in slender spikes, the corolla 4-6 mm wide, violet-purple to light violet.

Occurrence: Frequent on caliche or dry sand from Mathis-Orange Grove to Alice and Riviera; also found in Bee and Goliad counties.
Bloom Period: March-November
