Plant Description: Perennial vine with thick taililng or slightlly twining stems to 10 m or longer, rooting at the nodes. Leaves 6-10 cm long, about as broad, thick and leathery. Corolla 5-6 cm long, rose-purple, tubular. Our subspecies is brasiliensis.
