Plant Description: Perennial with prostrate or ascending hairy stems to 35 cm high or higher. Leaves obovate-oblong, spatulate, or oval, 1.5-6 cm long, opposite without petioles. Flowers perfect, in terminal or axillary heads. Heads 9-15 mm wide, white to pink or purple-rose. perianth about 5 mm long. Sepals scale-like; bracts usually purplish but may be white.
