Plant Description: Perennial to 60 cm high withupright or reclining stems. Leves incised or deeply lobed, 1.5-4 cm long. Flowers in uppe4 axils, the corolla 1-2 cm long, white or rarely partly purplle.

Occurrence: Frequent on heavier sands or clay in pastures and woods. Native to parts of the southwestern and south-central United States, the Caribbean, Mexico, Central America, and southern South America.
