Plant Description: Sprawling, sometimes woody base perennial with mostly reclining or prostrate sems to 60 cm long. Taproots resembling parsnips. Ovate or roundish leaves, 1-6 cm long, alternate, somewhat succulent. Flowers solitary, radial. Fruit are capsules enclosed by the swollen calyx, blackening when ripe. Petals 7-10 mm long, pale yellow.
